The Ashdown Forest offers family fun adventures and is a great place to visit if you’re staying at our Sussex campsite. Enjoy Pooh sticks on Winnie the Poohs own bridge, or cream teas at The Duddleswell Tea Rooms, followed by wildlife spotting across the open heath. The Forest is an amazing location to spot a huge range of wildlife at different times of the year. My favourite is looking and listening for Nightjars in the summer, but there are deer stone chats Dartford Warblers and adders to name just some of the huge variety living in this empty wilderness. It is well worth a walk or two during your stay.
