Shoreham Fort

Shoreham Fort is in Shoreham, 20 miles from The Secret Campsite Lewes.

It was built in the 1850’s as a defensive measure to repulse Napoleons advances towards British shores. There cunning design was picked up by spies from France who advised against attacking so they did their job without firing a shot.
