Bayham Old Abbey

Bayham Old Abbey is in Tunbridge Wells, 17 miles from The Secret Campsite Beech Estate.

Bayham Old Abbey dates from between the 13th and 15th centuries when the church was constructed from the golden local sandstone. The ruins which remain today are set in gardens which have been re-designed by the famous landscape gardener Humphrey Repton in the 18th century. English Heritage have brought facilities to the site near Tunbridge Wells including a shop where you can get hot drinks.
